**Who we are**

We are a welcoming and friendly organisation who provide homes for people who need them and services to help our customers lead better lives. We own and manage more than 7,000 properties across the East Midlands and Yorkshire and the Humber, helping thousands of people in our communities every single day. This includes homes for affordable rent, homes for students and homes for older people. We even develop new homes to help people get on the property ladder. In addition to this, we provide Student accommodation. We support over 4000 learners a year with everything from entry level qualifications, arts and wellbeing courses through to employability support to help people fulfil their potential. This is through Riverside Training, our employment and skills team, and CLIP, an education provider

**A bit more about CLIP**

CLIP is a social enterprise that aims to widen participation in learning and support positive progression by people in rural, coastal and peripheral communities. We do this by developing programmes that focus on:

- 16-18s and Adults (50-50 commitment)
- Making a contribution to local communities and partnership working
- Being entrepreneurial - securing the widest variety of social, physical and financial resources to maximise the quality and range of provision that we can offer to local communities

Your role is all about helping Acis and all associated organisations (in this case CLIP) look and be at its best. We want everyone to have pride in where they work and you will be right at the front of delivering this.

**What we need from you**:

- An understanding of cleaning in a corporate and customer facing environment
- The ability to handle a level of physical exertion, this role is very hands on and will include moving cleaning stock and rubbish as well as handling some cleaning equipment
- A love of tidiness, we want you to be proud of where you work
- Your own transport
- Previous experience as a key holder

**As a cleaner a typical day might include**:

- Ensuring that each of our sites is fit and ready for colleagues and customers to use
- Taking responsibility for health and safety standards where you’re working
- Locking and unlocking our sites outside of operational hours
- Being motivated to work on your own, you’ll have great freedom to deliver the right standards
