We are looking for a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to take care of our hotel’s infrastructure. You will manage maintenance and plan various repair & upkeep projects.

In this role, you should be organised and proactive. Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and general maintenance. If you’re also committed to meeting health and safety standards, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
- Arrange & carry out routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities
- Organise repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
- Act fast to resolve emergency issues
- Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Liase with housekeeping staff to find and fix damages and out of order facilities.
- Keep hotel decorating looking fresh and new by frequent maintenance.

Requirements and skills
- Proven experience in Maintenance
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, painting & decorating, hotel industry experience is a plus
- Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00 per hour
