We currently have an opportunity for a Contracts Specialist to provide contractual support in Crawley, West Sussex, for the EMEA region reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Contracts.

The position requires the ability to prepare and deliver standard and non-standard contracts as required by the business units located across EMEA for recurring, volume-based services and solutions, the management of the contracts database and liaising with the US contracts department to ensure that the services are swiftly activated.

In addition, the position will support additional contract drafting requirements as and when required, reviewing requests for proposals and preparing compliance matrixes and tables, and as such additional responsibilities relating to contracts support and processes at the direction of the Senior Manager of Contracts in EMEA. The role will require interfacing and negotiating contracts with third party customers and suppliers, as well as working with various stakeholders in the US and Asia Pacific regions.

**The role will include**:

- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating customer and supplier contract terms
- Advising on contractual terms and conditions and resolving any problems or issues arising from contracts both with internal as well as external customers
- Working together with the business units to ensure successful completion of the sales process through contract signature
- Responsibility for enforcing record management policies and procedures and coordinating overall file and database management
- Maintaining a contract repository to ensure data is updated and expiration dates are accurate
- Conducting file audits as well as providing information and support for any other internal or external audits
- Completing certain procedural tasks through corporate software tools to complete the contracts department’s part of compliance processes.

**Qualifications**:

- As a minimum, have completed a module in Contracts Law either in a Business or Legal Diploma and must have a good understanding of commercial contracts and legal principals associated with Contract Law
- Possess negotiation and drafting skills for commercial contracts
- Be ready and willing to manage large volumes of standard and non-standard contracts
- Be able to work independently, have good time management abilities and be able to produce quality and professional contracts within established timelines
- Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Have good people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business units and understand their requirements quickly and be able to work as an integral part of a team
- Be able to travel within the region where necessary
