**About us**:
We are a one form entry primary school set in a small village near Aylesbury.

Our children are enthusiastic and motivated with exceptional behaviour for learning. We have beautiful school grounds and enjoy outdoor learning. We are fortunate to have very supportive parents who work with the school in the best interests of their children.

**About the role**:
To support the wellbeing of our staff we buy into a package which provides 24/7 access to medical advice for staff and their own children through private GP services. Amongst other services the package includes, wellbeing, physiotherapy, counselling and nurse support.

This role would be suitable for a responsible, hard-working, self-motivate and flexible team player who has good communication skills, at least a basic level of IT skills, great organisational skills and has the ability to work independently. Responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining a clean, safe and secure school premises which includes buildings and grounds.
- Carrying out cleaning, handyperson activities, routine maintenance and refurbishment, porterage and minor repairs.
- Some supervision of agency cleaning staff.
- Promoting health and safety around the school.
- All other aspects of site management, such as supervising external contractors, site use and development planning.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is:

- Friendly and approachable
- Self-motivated and organised
- Competent at DIY and general maintenance
- Experienced and knowledgeable about Health & Safety regulations and procedures, or willing to undertake training
- Keen to take pride in the condition and appearance of our school both internally and externally
- Flexible and adaptable
