Woodland Vale is a 20 bed Residential home in Great Torrington. We provide support for people who have a dementia. We also support other Services within the home. We are proud of our Food standard agency 5 star award. To maintain this we are looking for a enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team.

**The Purpose of the role**
- To prepare a good variety of menus, cook and serve all meals 3 times daily for our clients including ones with specific dietary requirements.
- Responsible for kitchen hygiene and cleaning to regulation standards, stock rotation and ordering.
- Good record keeping including COSHH and cleaning records
- To contribute to health and safety and adherence to Health and Safety Act 1974.
- To attend and contribute to meetings as necessary and liaise with your line manager.
- To carry out any other duties which fall within the broad spirit, scope and purpose of this job description.
- Ensure the wellbeing and dignity of clients is maintained at all times.
