Apprentice Gardener

We have an exciting opportunity for two people to join our expert Gardening Team to help maintain and improve our landscaped gardens across Staffordshire.

It’s a fabulous opportunity for someone who is passionate about gardening or horticulture to learn and develop the skills needed to have a career in the sector.

**Job requirements**
- With training, use and maintain power tools like lawn mowers, brush cutters, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
- Work with the team to deliver grounds maintenance across our sites in and around Staffordshire completing lawn mowing, hedge cutting, weeding, and litter picking.
- Maintain communication with supervisor and have regular one-to-ones.
- Attain a level two horticulture qualification and how to deliver customer care.

**What we’re looking for**
- A passion in gardening and horticulture.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills with on-the-job training.
- Two GCSE’s including English and Maths grade 2 or equivalent (not essential).
- Previous experience gardening at home or for relatives (not essential).
- Able to work in all weather conditions and be physically fit to carry out required duties.
- Able to work safely at all times.
- Someone who is helpful and engaging as well as hard working and reliable.
