**The Role**:
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will carry out routine personal care / assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support (and supervised by) a registered nurse/ clinician. You will ensure a person centered approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy.

You will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward/ department environment.

**What we'll need you to bring***:

- Knowledge of personal care and related procedures or previous volunteer or work experience in a health, education or social environment
- Required to undertake on the job training and induction
- Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Working knowledge of basic information technology

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Experience of stroke preferable

**Contract type**:
Permanent

Part Time

34.5 hours

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

**Location and Working Pattern**:
This role will be based in Ward 21 Stroke Unit within University Hospital Monklands
