Bus drivers required to operate bus routes on the WirraL.

Full category D PCV licence training will be provided in order to gain the qualification to drive a bus. The training process takes 3 months but only a small amount of your time is required which is:
1 hour for a medical, 3 hours for theory exams (+ at home studying), 25 hours practical training and 2 hrs for your practical test,

Once the licence has be gained your shift pattern will be either a 4 or 5 day week.

Paid employment will only start when the licence has been gained.

You will be required to commit to the role for 2 years. If you do not complete the minimum 2 year term then you will have to refund the employer a pro rata portion of the training costs.

If you gain the licence before the 1st September 2024 your starting hourly pay rate will be £12.50 rising to £15.00 per hour from 1st September 2024
