A methodical approach to the job is essential, with the ability to provide sympathetic assistance, support and advice to the bereaved along with the ability to work unsupervised for long periods

The Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, hosts a dual role Mortuary and Bereavement Service. The department is APT led, consisting of three team members. The team deals with around 2,220 patients a year and undertakes approximately 500 post mortems.
