We are looking for a Community Manager to join our team. If you are an outgoing and well-connected professional with experience in customer service, events, and community growth, we want to hear from you.

You will connect a future independent shopping area with the local communities to establish trusting relationships and create social value through activities and events.

Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.

**Responsibilities**
- Curate, source, operate and manage a community events programme in Wandsworth, South London to boost brand awareness, working regularly with the marketing lead.
- Regularly network with business professionals, selling FOUNDRY and New Acres in advance of opening.
- Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.
- Working closely with education partners to manage the space effectively.
- Be reliable, flexible, honest and a strong advocate for New Acres and FOUNDRY.
- Taking responsibility for the operations and day to day of the building including the opening and closing procedure.
- Preparing reporting and submission of reports that outline operations, sales progress and management information on a timely basis to Senior Management Team.
- Develop the relationship with Urban Bubble team who will be seen as an extension of your team

**Requirements and skills**
- Passion and understanding for the New Acres mission.
- Work experience as a community manager is preferred.
- Experience launching community initiatives
- Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)
- Excellent verbal communication skills and excellent writing skills
- Sales experience
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business as FOUNDRY host events in addition to regular member opening hours
- IT skills to include Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn and use other software used within FOUNDRY
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.

**Salary**: From £40,000.00 per year
