**Join Our Team as a Food Manufacturing Operative**

**Location**: Great Brickhill, Buckinghamshire, MK179AE

**Hours**:

- Monday - Friday, 5 days per week
- No evenings, nights, or weekends (unless you want to work overtime)
- 9 hour shifts ranging between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm (9-hour shifts)

**Salary**: Starting from £25,000 per year, with a growth path, 2 annual pay reviews. Monthly pay, calculated hourly. Weekend overtime is available in our events business.
- £25,000 pa + benefits (calculated hourly)
- 2 x pay reviews per year + probationary pay review after 3 months

At The Calzone Kitchen, nestled in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside, we're a rapidly growing family food business on a mission to deliver exceptional artisan half-baked calzones across the UK mainland. We also offer street food and event catering services.

**Your Role**:
As a Food Manufacturing Operative, you'll play a pivotal role in our journey. At TCK, your job isn't to make Calzones, it's to improve the process of making Calzones. We do this by using continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste.
- Working across various stations such as prep, calzone building, baking, chilling, wrapping, and packaging our artisan calzone products.
- Contributing creative input to the development of our business.
- Upholding high standards, working at pace, and demonstrating a passion for self-assessment and growth.
- Implementing and contributing to our Lean Manufacturing transformation - working on continuous improvement to reduce waste.

**Requirements**:

- Passion or keen interest in food (experience in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory).
- Willingness to learn and develop a "Lean mindset".
- Ability to work energetically on your feet for extended periods.
- Initiative-driven mindset and a commitment to high standards.
