**About our opportunity**
In our expanding market, we are seeking to appoint a Hydrogeologist to join our team, to support the Water well Department Manager to play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the Waterwells team, working in tandem with our other versatile teams in contracts, operations, accounts, and site-based drill crews.
Based at our Hamilton office the Hydrogeologist will be responsible for 3 main areas.
1. Design and manage of the construction of waterwells for drinking water supplies, irrigation schemes and other purposes.
2. Design and manage pump testing work.
3. Design and manage pump installation works.
**Key tasks include**:
- Communication and visits to our clients about waterwell drilling, pump testing and pump installation works.
- Interpretation of water abstraction reports and advising clients on these reports.
- Managing of drill crews and making sure stock levels of steel, plastic and gravel are kept up to date.
- Designing of pumping systems for each job based on the client’s requirements.
- Specifying water filtration requirements where there are known quality issues.
- Pricing breakdowns and new sales enquiries relating to pumps.

**Salary **up to£45,000 DOE
