We have created a brand-new unit focusing on digitalization and innovation within **GreenPowerMonitoring**. By closely liaising with our customers, we are molding solutions that will become part of our future software offering. Combining our deep domain expertise in wind, solar, storage and grid integration with the unlimited potential of digitalization, we will be offering trustworthy actionable insights that will enable best-in-class operational performance of our customers’ assets.

**Additional information**

This is not a typical role within the company, and we are looking for someone with very specific skills and experience. You are on a mission to improve the way wind assets operate and for that reason you are willing to fail fast and learn quickly, to ensure that the unit, the wider DNV and the industry, will get clear benefits utilizing the solutions you will develop. You should have a good understanding of wind installations operational performance and of wind technology. You are a confident relationship builder and you proficiently use your soft skills, combined with deep technical knowledge, to understand your customers’ problems and goals, turning them into opportunities to develop software solutions. You have a digital mindset and can create valuable python-based code. You will be working with relevant colleagues to hand over the successful code to ensure it will become commercial software as part of the GPM suite of solutions. Demonstrably strong influencing and technical skills will be required alongside a high level of resilience, as successful innovation can come at the expense of many short-term failures. You are used to learning fast and to lean on the knowledge of a global team of multidisciplinary colleagues including machine learning and artificial intelligence experts that will support our journey towards success.

GPM&S (GreenPowerMonitoring) offers leading products and services in the renewable energy sector. With more than 10 years’ experience, the company has consolidated its position as the independent leader in management, monitoring and control of renewable energy installations with more than 50GW managed globally.

GPM&S (GreenPowerMonitoring) has a great depth of experience with renewable energy plants across the globe and delivers a market-leading integrated solution set for the management and maintenance of green energy installations that includes hardware, software and services unmatched in the industry.

GPM&S (GreenPowerMonitoring) merged forces with DNV in 2016 to facilitate the green energy transition through digital solutions.

The position is a part of the **Domain Knowledge Team**.

**The main remit of this Team is**:

- To create digital tools that enable our customers to optimize the way their assets operate
- To innovate and disrupt the industry with best-in-class solutions and breakthrough market opportunities
- To provide analytics and tools for the suite of GPM solutions and
- To leverage the potential of data analytics combined with the technical knowledge available in the wider cohort of DNV Energy Systems colleagues
