**FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT / STOCKPORT/ UP TO £55K & GREAT BENEFITS**
Exciting opportunity for an Accountant to pursue and develop a successful career within a friendly, dynamic and vibrant wallpaper company. The studio is located within a converted mill on the outskirts of Stockport.
Rasch are a well-established, German owned, wallpaper manufacturer with several production facilities across Europe supplying major UK retailers such as B&Q. The UK Company is a sales-based design studio.
We are looking for a passionate Financial Accountant, with previous experience of managing and motivating a small team. Ultimately, you will provide the MD and sales team with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cashflow of the business.

- Hours of work 09.00h-17.00h

**Key Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant**:
- Providing weekly & monthly accounts/financial analysis & reports for the MD and Board of Directors
- Running full spread of monthly sales reports
- Liaison with the parent company’s Finance Director providing monthly reports on management accounts and other information as requested
- Prepare draft company accounts
- Daily bank reconciliation, multi-currency payment transactions & general Bankline Administrator tasks
- Effective credit control
- Cash flow forecasting and financial plans for review with the MD
- Creating project files & maintaining financial information within these files
- Review costings and look at pricing optimisation for all customers
- Purchase & Sales Ledger maintenance & statement reconciliations
- Payroll supervision (bureau used), knowledge of payroll and pension regulations as well as benefits in kind would be desirable
- Monitor stock levels, place stock orders with suppliers and liaise with them through to delivery
- General negotiation of office overhead contracts: insurance, phones, utilities, fleet management etc
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Full time position
- AAT /ACA or qualified by experience.
- Substantial IT experience and ability -including the ability to use the finance related software Sage and advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- High customer service ethos (internal & external).
- Track record of controlling and implementing internal financial processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive attitude to help manage and develop the business.
- Commercially aware, an analytical thinker and problem solver with a good eye for detail and accuracy.
