Pharmacy Dispenser

Omnicare Pharmacy is looking for a qualified dispenser/technician to work within our branch in Mid Calder. Livingston. The position will be to support existing staff and pharmacist manager to ensure a high level of pharmaceutical care is delivered to patients.

Job description

Automation supports each branch with the central production of dosette boxes. This allows staff to concentrate on providing pharmacy services to customers.

Criteria for the position:

- Previous pharmacy experience.
- Working towards or successful NVQ2/NVQ3 qualifications (or equivalent)
- A Medicines Healthcare Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential
- The drive and ability to build relationship with colleagues, patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Have great communication skills.
- Comply with data protection in the delivery of pharmacy services
- Be able to work as part of a team to delivery a standard of pharmacy services
