Motor Mechanic

Turners Garage is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team near Pulborough. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of cars, light commercials and 4 x 4 s

**Essential Duties**:

- Inspects, repairs, and maintainence of diesel and petrol vehicles
- Inspects, repairs, and maintainence electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean work area.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all parts and components used in the shop.
- Complete work orders completed by others on the shop floor.
- Communicate with customers, service advisors, and management in a timely manner.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

**Required Skills**:

- M.O.T. tester an advantage..
- Must have mechanical knowledge of various types of diesel and petrol vehicles
- Must have customer service skills as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis
- welding skills and a clean driving licence

**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pulborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- City & Guilds Automotive (preferred)
