**The role**
A rare and exciting new opportunity has arisen for a forward-thinking Recruitment & Rota Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis.
**Key responsibilities**
- Understand the nature of our business, company structure and staff requirements
- Assist with writing and/or editing of job vacancies and job descriptions
- Upload vacancies to job recruitment websites and liaise with internal marketing team
- Monitor responses to job vacancies, carry out initial screening of CVs for suitability
- Release suitable CVs to relevant departments for review
- Act as a first point of contact for applicants, booking interviews and providing guidance on procedures
- Support HR Manager with interviews, note-taking and standing in, in their absence
- Create and maintain weekly departmental rotas using web-based app, Deputy
- Approve annual leave requests and make amendments to the rota to cover absences
- Find cover for last-minute sickness absence
- Ad hoc tasks as required to support the Admin/HR team
**Hours of work**
08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday
Closed Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
- Unphased by changing technology, gets to grips quickly with unfamiliar web-based apps and able to troubleshoot where necessary
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail (or similar customer facing, hourly paid industry) would be beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high level of confidentiality
- Good general knowledge of employment law and best practice - desirable though not essential
- Enjoys the challenge of a jigsaw puzzle (crucial for rota planning)
- Thrives on bringing order and organisation to a fast moving, constantly evolving environment
- Resourceful, working well under own initiative
- Takes responsibility for assigned work and accountability for own actions
