To make the magic happen, we’re on the hunt for a passionate and experienced housing leader to head up our brilliant Repairs and Investment Delivery teams on a two-year contract. You’ll work with your teams to get ready for change, whilst ensuring seamless service delivery and an exceptional customer experience throughout. Sounds right up your street, doesn’t it?

You might think of Yorkshire Housing as ‘just’ a housing provider. We own and manage nearly 20,000 homes (and counting) across Yorkshire and our mission is to make it possible for current and future customers to have a place they’re proud to call home. We’re all about the customer, and our service doesn’t stop once the keys are in the door.

We’re a dynamic and innovative housing provider, and we’ve got big growth plans (8,000 more homes in the next 8 years to be exact). We need the right people in the right roles to make it happen. And that’s where you come in. You’ll play a key role in the strategic direction of our Repairs service. You’ll provide vision, passion and purpose as the teams enter a crucial period in the Yorkshire Housing journey. Interested yet?

- You’ll provide confident and clear leadership and direction for the Repairs and Investment Delivery teams.
- You’ll steer the whole department towards success from a strategic viewpoint, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- You’ll manage key internal and external relationships as we begin to build on our in-house Repairs service.
- You’ll ensure we achieve and maintain high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
- You’ll empower colleagues to embrace change, find the best solutions and take forward our culture of innovation and flexibility.

**Sounds good? Here’s what we need from you**
- You’ll need to hit the ground running and be ready to get stuck in and achieve impact from day one. Although this is a two-year contract, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference and shape the way we do things from the word go.
- You’re a real people person, with the ability to listen, relate to and understand the issues faced by your teams. You’ll understand the importance of communication, and keeping your people engaged and informed with interim and long-term change plans.
- You’ll have extensive senior-level experience in directing and delivering customer service functions, particularly in a Repairs and Investment setting, including leading service and strategy design and implementation.
