Specialist Team Lead Diabetes Dietitian

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Dietitian to co-lead the dietetic delivery of the diabetes service within the Central Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) Dietetic Service. The service will offer evidence based care for people in North Wales with complex diabetes.
The Team Lead Dietitian will be responsible for the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to Diabetes Care, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency community teams, and the wider BCUHB Dietetic Service.
In addition to your service development role, you will provide operational support and supervision to, and be supported by a wider team of Band 5 and 6 dietitians, Band 3 Dietetic Assistants, and Administration colleagues, working across the Health Board.
You will work under the direction and supervision of the Service Lead, and as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency teams.
In addition to your clinical role, you will also provide line management support to delegated dietetic staff and will be responsible for ensuring an effective system of performance management
You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students, and have secretarial and assistant support.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
