Etching Operative

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Preparing and etching flat copper plates
- Keeping etching chemistry at optimal levels using test gauges for optimum output
- Preparing and inspection of post-etch plates for CNC
- Setting of CNC milling machines
- Deburring and finishing of Copper & Brass printing plates
- Die Finishing using hand and air tools
- Assisting with our despatch area in busy periods
- Ensuring quality at all steps of the process
- Working within health and safety guidelines always using supplied PPE

- Previous experience working with low acid chemicals preferred, but not essential.

Pay: £11.44 per hour
