We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a growing Manufacturing team, where your role will directly impact the successful completion of each project.

As a Materials Planner within our dynamic team, you will work in unison with the manufacturing department to ensure the efficient and timely production of parts for our clients, spanning from low voltage harnesses to high voltage cable assemblies and beyond.

Your responsibilities as a Materials Planner:

- Conduct verification of manufacturing material requirements and BoM for various projects.
- Maintain the integrity of data within the MRP system and manage its continuous update.
- Coordinate with Purchasing to raise purchase requests in alignment with customer demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing department to guarantee the timely receipt of parts, ensuring preparedness for all manufacturing projects.
- Track manufacturing costs through to project completion and aid in the creation and management of production schedules with the Manufacturing Program Manager.
- Deliver regular reports on stock status to key stakeholders and contribute to the development of manufacturing tenders by gathering cost data.
- Implement and oversee stock control systems, managing inventory levels efficiently.
- Support the stores function in the processing of goods in and out, as well as sourcing and managing office and workshop consumables.

Your current experience which will help you as a Materials Planner:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role within the industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management, presentation, and analysis.
- A background in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and adeptness at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaboration across engineering, purchasing, accounts, and manufacturing departments.
