- **EQUANS is recruiting for an Industrial Chargehand, (Industrual Supervisor Assistant) to be based in EDF Sizewell IP16 4UR. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary.**:
**Shift Times**

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30
Friday 08:00 - 14:00

**What you will deliver**:
The Industrial Chargehand will be responsible for assisting the Industrial Supervisor to lead and motivate the industrial team to carry out their industrial services (cleaning of floors/plant areas, pumping services, leak management, crane/hoist operation, pressure washing, cleaning of tanks) and to ensure work areas are cleaned to the expected standard.
- : to assist the industrial supervisor in the following tasks, and cover during time off:

Providing support and supervision to the industrial team
- To be able to organise a team and allocate staff to tasks accordingly
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to
- Support statutory and unplanned outages with additional hours as required
- Ensure appropriate risk assessments are undertaken on all work
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment
- Management of absence and holidays for the domestic team to include investigations
- Carrying out regular observations to ensure the highest standards are achieved
- Attend meetings as required.
- Establish a good working relationship with your team members, and when required provide guidance to others
- Identify and report areas and procedures that fail to meet expected standards.

**Who are we looking for?**:

- NVQ Level 1 in Cleaning walls, fixtures and fittings / BICS Level 1
- Experience of cleaning services and a good understanding of COSHH regulations
- Experience of working in a supervisory role preferred
- Experience of working with plant preferred
