An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookeeper/accounts assistant/assistant management accountant/finance officer to join a growing organisation within a friendly team. Excellent career progression opportunities and study support available.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Provide support for monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, overheads and cost allocation to correct departments
- Month-end - journal input, accruals, prepayments
- Cover transactional postings from time to time such as expenses, credit cards, bank recs, and Credit Control duties.
- Cover for sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Other ad-hoc tasks as directed by manager
- Proven experience within a similar bookeeper/finance or accounts assistant position
- Minimum AAT Level 4 qualified, or part qualified accountant
- Experience with accounting systems with strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Foreign currency advantageous
- An enthusiastic approach to work
- Excellent numerical ability
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
