Edgeley Park Stadium is looking for qualified SIA stewards to join our team to assist in delivering world-class events and experiences for guests. Edgeley Park Stadium, the home of Stockport County Football Club, is a versatile venue capable of hosting football matches, concerts, sports games, and various other top-tier events.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Your role on an event day will include**:

- Ensuring compliance with conditions of entry as set out by the ground regulations and safety certificate, including preventing unauthorised entry into the venue.
- Controlling and directing spectators while monitoring crowd movement and preventing overcrowding, ensuring safe entry and exit of fans.
- Understanding instructions and clearly communicating with spectators, including managing conflict and queue management.
- Identifying and reporting potential hazards and carrying out safety checks.
- Staffing all entrances and exits (including exit doors or gates), ensuring they are continuously secured in the open position while the ground is in use.
- Undertaking specific duties in an emergency or as directed by the Safety Officer or their team.
- Having the ability and resources to accurately describe and record incidents for future reference.
- Being confident and competent in the use of technology and aids supplied by management, such as radios, megaphones, and wands.
- Having a comprehensive understanding of key area-specific roles and responsibilities.
- Offering fans and guests an exceptional matchday experience.

**Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise**
- You must hold an SIA Door Supervisor Licence to be considered for this role.
- Experience working as an Event Steward
- Previous customer service experience
- You must have a good level of verbal and written English
- The ability to react calmly in high-pressure situations

**Required skills**
- Security operative applicants must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor, CCTV or Close Protection Licence
- Stewards must have Level 2 spectators safety qualification.

Pay: £11.44-£16.00 per hour
