**As a Multi Skilled Plumber, a typical day might include**
- Undertaking a full range of installations and adaptations, with the emphasis on multi-skilled approach. Works will involve a wide range of construction activities
- Ensure that the correct materials are at the right place at the right time to deliver what’s required and provide a seamless service for our customers
- Work unsupervised in occupied and unoccupied properties and ensuring tools and equipment are used safely
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and submitted on time and in the right format
- Ensure all equipment, plant, materials and vehicles are handled correctly, well maintained and securely looked after, including regular checks for road-worthiness on vehicles for which you are responsible
- Carry out work activities in line with policies, procedures, risk assessments, high quality standards and in accordance with Building Regulations
- To acquire and maintain a full tool kit to enable all reasonable duties to be undertaken
- Adhere to health and safety Regulations with regard to the safety of yourself, other workers, customers and the general public
- May be required to participate in an out of hours call out rota to cover evenings and weekends as required
- Generally, work to a programme of tasks as identified by your line manager but this may be interrupted to deal with emergency situations

**What looks good to us**:

- You will have a recognised apprenticeship or trade qualification (eg City & Guilds, NVQ level 2, or equivalent) in plumbing
- You will have demonstrable experience within the construction industry with a multi skilled approach across a number of trades
- A full UK Driving Licence and CSCS card
- You will have a great understanding of the construction industry, in particular the building trade, including legislation, Health and Safety, manual handling, working at heights and so on
- You will have the ability to plan ahead to ensure that all jobs can be completed on time, first time

**What makes you stand out from the crowd**:

- Ability to carry out secondary building maintenance skills such as joinery, carpentry and plastering, alongside wider maintenance activities.
- Understanding and appreciation of the needs of older, disabled and vulnerable individuals and households
- Basic electrical isolation understanding and certification

You’ll be adept at change, having got hands on experience living and breathing new ways of working and knowing how to bring your colleagues along for the experience
