Job description

You will be a senior innovator with a wealth of fundraising experience who can juggle multiple client projects and deliver results. You’ll have 8+ years’ experience either consulting or client side and have raised £millions over your career. Most of those years will be in the for-good space.

**About the role**

You will use Flying Cars frameworks, processes, and tools to:

- Run full fundraising innovation cycles
- Grow client satisfaction and gain great testimonials
- Present brilliant business cases for new propositions
- Provide full indisputable evidence from a multitude of testing sources using our prototyping method
- Help clients shape their briefs to give a broad scope of end result
- Refine our growing training offer
- Test great ideas that deliver exceptional results

As a Senior Innovation Consultant, you’ll work with high autonomy and responsibility, using and improving our
award-winning processes and methodologies. Your drive and ambition will take our client offer to the next level.

**Essential skills**
- **Experience (8 years+) of managing end-to-end** innovation and new product development cycles (ideally in Individual Giving Mass Engagement and Community)
- Managing **multiple simultaneous complex innovation** cycles. Create and launch highly successful charity fundraising campaigns
- **£multi-million fundraising campaign** delivery knowledge and experience. Understand budgeting, acquisition costs, marketing channels, stewardship. You understand what does and doesn’t work in fundraising to avoid pitfalls. Demonstrate what does work with examples where similar products have succeeded
- **Consistently deliver** fundraising campaign ideas that clients love. Well skilled at working with diverse teams to create new insight-led fundraising propositions with scalability. You can showcase your fundraising successes (and failures)
- **Delivery of qualitative insight** that encapsulates audience needs, delivers ideas, tests assumptions, and sells winning ideas. Develop discussion guides, oversee recruitment, undertake depth interviews, disseminate learnings effectively, finding actionable insights to develop insight springboards (needs statements) and collate evidence during prototyping
- **Copywriting** - be able to create engaging, concise and to-the-point copy for insight decks, fundraising ideas, presentation decks, business cases, training manuals and process manuals
- **Gravitas, professionalism and storytelling with confidence **with senior stakeholders, including CEO’s and Executive Directors. Whether face-to-face, online or on the phone, in workshops, training delivery, client or prospective client meetings you can confidently sell an idea through storytelling. You can confidently talk about the ecosystem of fundraising innovation
- **Administration** - there’s no hiding this, there is admin to do. It keeps the wheels turning
- **Run online and in-person core workshops that deliver results**. This requires a high level of planning detail and creativity to deliver exceptional engagement for all participants

**Other Responsibilities**
- Prototyping - Quant and smokescreen prototyping delivery. Including quant testing, smokescreen testing, copywriting, ad development (Meta back-end Business Manager and Ad Manager ideal)
- Onboard and steward clients** **and delivery partners so they have a superb experience
- Delivery and dissemination of quantitative insight for testing purposes. Adept at knowing what to test using surveys and bringing out the most useful insights for clients
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused when facing hurdles
- Enthusiastic, confident, curious, and fun. Happy to learn new skills and software quickly
- Be able to commute to our office in Olympic Park and zone 1 or 2 in London when requested based on client needs to deliver meetings and workshops

**Desirable (not essential)**
- Fast-paced agency experience
- Meta back end - Business Manager and Ad Manager with concept and ad testing expertise
- Virtual workshop facilitation
- Adobe Indesign and Illustrator or expertise in equivalent packages
