We are seeking a Transport Coordinator to assist the Transport Manager in the smooth running of the transport department. At Campbell Brothers South we recognise that the quality of our Transport team is instrumental to our success.

- **Full time, permanent**:

- **£25,000 - £28,000 per annum**:

- **45 hours per week (rotating shift - Week 1: 6 earlies; Week 2: five lates)**:

- **Earlies: 03:00am - 12:00pm**:

- **Lates: 13:00pm - 23:00pm**

**Key accountabilities**:

- Vehicle compliance is to be managed to the highest standard ensuring we are legal and compliant 100% of the time.
- Assisting Drivers to ensure all relevant activities and paperwork in their roles are completed accurately.
- Review the order profile on a daily basis and plan routes according to agreed timescales taking into account customer requirements
- Ensure operational cost is kept to a minimum, always within budget.
- To consistently support in driving improved standards within the department to deliver customer satisfaction expectation.
- Maintaining excellent communication between both internal and external departments
- Making sure the department is audit ready at all times, with no exceptions
- Assist in the recruitment and induction processes, maintaining high levels of training to ensure all new team members are competent and confident in carrying out their duties in accordance with company standards and legal frameworks and this continues throughoutemployment
- Maintain goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
- Receive complaints and resolve problems
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures

You will be required to carry out formal investigations into incidents and will be required to carry out visual vehicle checks and report damage. You will play an important role in ensuring that service excellence is being achieved within the department.

**Required skills**:

- Experience of a fast-moving warehousing and distribution environment, preferably from a multi-drop, multi-temperature Foodservice business.
- Effective communication skills.
- Manage conflicting deadlines and able to prioritise.
- Working effectively as part of a team.
