Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary - Full Time) - Bridgwater

Hourly rate based on salary up to £25,000, paid weekly

Key Responsibilities for this Purchase Ledger Clerk role:

- Matching invoices against purchase orders & credit notes
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Supplier payment runs, including setting up payment batches
- Maintain accurate records of supplier accounts and payment transactions
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries
- Assist with month-end procedures and provide support during audits

Requirements for this Purchase Ledger Clerk role:

- Previous experience working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes and procedures.
- Proficient in using Excel & ERP systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Available on short notice (up to 2 weeks) and able to commute to Bridgwater five days a week.
