Host/hostess

Overview:
Sekkoya is a Pan Asian Restaurant & Bar Sekkoya in the heart of Canterbury's brand new Riverside development. We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and guest services to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and provide them with a warm welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Assist in seating guests and managing reservations
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns or special requests
- Assist in maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or guest services role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service
- Ability to work well within a team

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.50-£12.05 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
