**Litho Printer - Early Shift**
**Tottenham, North London**
**Based on experience up to a maximum £35,000**

My client is a pioneer within the marketing and communications side of the print industry. Due to continued growth, they’re currently seeking an experienced litho print operator to run their Halm Jet envelope printing press. Within the role you’ll report into the production manager, assisting the business in providing their range of services to their customers specifications.

**The Role**:

- To operate and maintain Halm Jet Press 2 colour and 4 colour litho envelope printing machinery
- To understand the job bag instructions and produce the work to the required specifications
- To ensure that the envelope over-printing machines are set-up, maintained, repaired and running efficiently at all times and perform daily safety checks
- To maintain production logs
- To monitor stocks of ink
- To constantly check the quality of the envelopes being produced on the machines
- To ensure that all relevant paperwork is filled in and completed accurately and on time
- To carry out routine scheduled maintenance and quality check procedures
- Maintain a tidy and clean work area ensuring that machines and the packing area is kept in a safe, clean and orderly manner.
- Previous experience as a litho printer
- A knowledge on how to operate 2 colour and 4 colour Halm Jet Press Printers (desirable, but not essential - full training provided)
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions, attention to detail
- Team player, able and willing to assist other members of the team
- Able to maintain good disciplines, standards, initiative, and drive
- Good time keeping and attendance
- A willingness to work overtime at quite short notice and to cover holidays and sickness as and when required.

**Salary + Benefits**
This is a full-time position working on the early shift, Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm - 37.5 hours per week.
Based on experience the salary for this role is up to £35,000 plus benefits including generous holiday allowance and company pension.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
