We are currently looking for a Head Receptionist to join our team here at Murrayshall Country Estate. Murrayshall have massive plans ahead. During the interview process find out more of our future plans as well as how we grow our current offering.

As a Head Receptionist**, **you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, ensuring an exceptional guest experience is delivered at all times.

Your role will include:

- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Ensuring a smooth check in and out process is followed for guests at all times, adhering to our policies and procedures
- Being fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and able to assist with any queries
- Daily and weekly banking and Cash handling
- Ensuring that both the Front of House and Guest Relations are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments
- Managing staff rotas and dealing with any staff issues, in conjunction with the Reception Manager
- Managing the receptionists daily tasks and duties
- Maximising room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Deputising for the Reception Manager
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist in other areas of the hotel as requested.

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:
**Essential**
- Previous experience in a hotel reception essential
- Previous experience of managing and inspiring staff essential
- Flexibility and the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues.

**Experience in understanding, delivering and exceeding guest expectations**
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs
- To take pride in your appearance as a brand ambassador
- To be able to problem solve and turn any negatives to positives
- To co-ordinate all guest feedback.
