Plant Fitter

We are looking for a Plant Engineer / Fitter who is passionate about delivering great customer service, and whom is committed to going the extra mile to deliver an exceptionally high standard of service to our valued customers within the plant hire industry.

This role of Plant Engineer / Fitter is great for someone looking for career progression, as we are rapidly expanding company.

You will need to be enthusiastic, hardworking and have an ability to thrive in a challenging and busy environment. Full training and support will be given.

**The Package**:

- Basic Rate: £15.71 Per Hour / £35K-40K Per Annum (Dependant on Experience)
- Overtime paid over 45 hours at 1&⅓, 1&½ and Double Time.
- Call Out bonus £100
- 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Pension Scheme. Training. Team days Out.
- Monday to Friday. Overtime available evenings and weekends.
- Company Vehicle

**Responsibilities include**:

- Servicing plant equipment including Excavators, Rollers, Dumpers, Telehandlers
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
- Regularly inspecting engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrical systems.
- Identifying faults, dismantling parts and repairing or replacing faulty parts,
- Reassembling parts and testing them to make sure they are working properly and safely,
- PDI checks, LOLAR inspections and safety inspections on all equipment ready for hire.
- NVQ Level
- Must have a driving licence
- An awareness of health and safety issues
- A reasonable level of fitness
- Good communication skills to explain problems
