**Hours of work**:
Part time and full-time work is available across a variety of days and shift patterns i.e 3 day / 4 day / night shift, offering very desirable premiums for shift work.
**Pay**:
From* £13.65 - £15.75 **with the potential to earn up to** £21.26 *for shift rotations/night shift
Enhanced rates are available for optional overtime

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate good safety behaviours in the workplace; ensure all rules / standards and procedures are adhered to at all times; wear correct personal protective equipment.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Perform proper set up of machines.
- Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminium & regular steel)
- Loading and unloading of the press brake machine.
- Carry out quality inspections; detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to line manager.

**Essential**
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience working with sheet metal with ability to distinguish material types; aluminium, steel, stainless steel, copper, brass.
- Confident with dimensional measuring and the use of precision measurement tools.
- Strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Willing to undertake training as required.
- Willing to work overtime on a regular basis.
- Good physical stamina.

**Preferred**
- Experience operating press brake machinery.
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing / industrial environment.
- Experience with tools and equipment - knowing how to use tools effectively & safely.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Solid Works/Solid Edge, Sigma Nest, ERP or MRP systems would be an advantage.
