**Position Overview**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clothes Presser and Production Assistant to join our team based in Leith.

This role would be part of our production team that creates the finest Highland Dress.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Pressing Kilts, Skirts, Trousers and Jackets etc. using industrial Press
- Assisting in the manufacture of Made to Order Clothing, Pet Products and Soft Furnishings
- Alterations as required
- Machine embroidering Products
- Other Production related activities

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience of using Industrial Sewing Machines and Overlocker is required
- Knowledge of Cloth is advantageous
- Extremely accurate sewing and fabric handling skills are essential
- Maintaining the highest levels of care and attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Experience and keen interest in sewing, têxtiles and garment making.
- Suit Seamstress and Tailoring background
- Full training will be given
- Self-motivated
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Suits perfectionists and those with a keen eye for detail

You will receive full training for your role and full time hours are Monday - Thursday 07.30 - 16.30 and Friday 07.30 - 12.30.
