**Are you a NEBOSH level 3 qualified Health and Safety practitioner? Are you looking for a varied role within a theatre environment? Do you promote and inspire a positive health and safety culture?**

In this crucial role, you will provide competent advice to all employees and support the Head of OSH in day-to-day health and safety matters, ensuring legal compliance and a positive and proactive approach to health and safety across the RSC.

It is an exciting time to join the RSC as we prepare to deliver our summer programme; the Health and Safety Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting on productions and at events and you will have the opportunity to gain experience in different areas.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Advising all staff on health and safety matters, including risk assessments, safe systems of work, adherence to safety and health policies and procedures and legal compliance.
- Carrying out incident investigations and writing reports.
- Carrying out workplace inspections and producing reports and recommendations for actions.
- Delivering or facilitating health and safety training courses, including health and safety inductions, both virtually and in-person.
- Maintaining first aid rooms and first aid stock.
- Building relationships, internally and with external networks.

The right person for this role will:

- Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent level 3 qualification.
- Be a member of IOSH or equivalent.
- Hold a Certificate in Education and Training or equivalent.
- Enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
- Be organised, managing, and prioritising your workload effectively.
