Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced despatch supervisor to join our team. As a Despatch supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and coordination of our despatch operations. Ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly, safely, and in a timely manner. This is a key role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the despatch department.
- Coordinate and ensure items and orders are loaded onto the vehicles safely and correctly.
- Maintain accurate records of despatch activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Train and supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to despatch operations.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation processes.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required.
- Familiarity with warehouses and operations.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
- Excellent manual handling skills.
- Understanding of business processes related to despatch operations.
- Valid forklift license.
