Sales Representative

R M Williams (Accrington) Ltd is an Engineering & Industrial Supplies retailer that has been trading in the local area for over 50 years. With a recent shop expansion, we have also expanded into the construction market and added an e-commerce website to our sales platform.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Seek out new customers and sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain database of customer contacts, enquiries and quotations
- Proactively dealing with customer enquiries, from quotations to delivery
- Expand range of products and services sold into core customers
- Ensure costs are understood and margins maintained on all quotations and orders
- Achieve individual targets and KPI’s

Skills Required:
- Have a flair for selling and building relationships with individuals and organisations
- Experience within the Engineering and/or Construction industries
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work under constraints of a small business and to make the most of available resources
- Adept at using professional social media to increase brand awareness and generate new enquiries
- Positive and polite manner
- Good sense of humour

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm.

Salary starting from £25k depending on experience, plus company performance based bonus scheme.
