Here at Paradise Wildlife Park, we are excited to offer this opportunity for an experienced and reliable Handyperson/Maintenance Operative to join our team. You may already be familiar with our wonderful zoo, the beautiful animals we house, and the amazing conservation work we do. **Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years electrical, plumbing, carpentry or multi-trade experience
- Self-motivated and able to manage own time
- Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build strong relationships
- Reliable and hardworking
- Awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Existing Right to Work in the UK (British Citizen, Indefinite Leave to Remain, EEA Citizen with Settled Status or other valid Visa/Work Permit)
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (as Paradise Wildlife Park is not accessible by public transport)

**Working Conditions**
- Permanent, full-time position; 40 Hours per week, 08.00-17.00 or 09.00-18.00, 5 over 7 days, including at least one weekend day
- Starting Salary circa £24,000 PA
- Full staff uniform
- 28 paid days annual leave PA (including Bank Holidays)
