**As a Sous Chef you will be required to**:

- Work with fresh seasonal ingredients
- Responsible for the ordering of quality fresh and frozen food for daily and specific needs
- Ensure deliveries are stored in the correct locations whilst in a timely manner
- Work in a timely manner whilst maintaining the high-end food
- Maintain kitchen area and equipment, ensuring your station and utensils are in a hygienic condition at all times
- Be prepared to prepare and envision varying menus, on some occasion's menus will change daily
- Modify dishes to meet customers dietary requirements
- Consider portion control to minimise waste whilst preparing dishes
- Be fully aware of all Health and Safety policy and procedures relevant to your role and department
- Establish relationships with attending kitchen staff and other members of staff through the hotel assisting in the delivery of service to customers
- Have access to your own transport due to location
- Have a background of producing very high-quality fresh food using local produce
- Have a good understanding of produce and ingredients
- Have an excellent customer focused manner at all times
- A neat and tidy appearance
- Previous Experience in a similar environment
