Dispensing Optician

Dispensing optician required for innovative, busy opticians.

We are an independent opticians who through our knowledge, experience and using state of the art equipment believe in delivering exceptional eye care to our clients. We are looking for a fully qualified dispensing optician to join our team. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering exceptional customer care. You will enjoy working as part of a team to deliver a fabulous customer experience. To be successful in this post you will be well organised, methodical and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. A friendly and personable demeanour with a strong personal work ethic are critical to this role. You will be encouraged to expand on your current optical knowledge, attend training and develop skill sets and professional development.

Main Responsibilities:
Achieving performance targets including sales targets

Pre testing clients

Giving advice to clients regarding lens/frame options

Dispensing spectacles

Adjusting/repairing spectacles

Maintaining accurate client records

Working closely with Optoms and other staff to deliver the best eye care for clients

Problem solving

Maximising profit margins

- 8 hour shift
