**JOB TITLE: Business Analyst**

**LOCATION: Lewes (Mainly remote, occasional office visit)**

**PAY RATE: £212.16 daily PAYE / £280 daily umbrella**

**START DATE: ASAP**

**DURATION/Hours: 3-month initial contract/ 37 hours a week**

**Purpose of the role**:

- The Sussex Our Connected Programme, is looking to recruit an experienced Business Analyst to support the transformation work across the digital strategy areas that deliver the strategic objectives for the programme, including local and national priorities.
- The post holder will need to be highly experienced, enthusiastic, team-focused and highly motivated to provide excellent change management activities with a variety of stakeholders across Sussex. The post holder will promote User Centred Design and Agilemethodologies.

**Successful applicant must have the following skills/experience**:

- A good understanding of change management methodology and experience of implementing service impacting change management projects
- Preference for minimum of five years recent experience of implementing NHS or social care change programmes within a large and diverse environment
- Knowledge of benefits management methodology and experience of carrying out benefits realisation for clinical systems
- Experience of requirement elicitation and documentation, process mapping, analysis and improvement
- The ability to keep abreast of changing requirements and priorities and embed them rapidly into working practices
- Build up an up-to-date awareness of NHS Digital and NHS Policy and proposes subsequent required amendments to project policy/practice i.e. understanding of the interplay between NHS Digital and NHS Policy and impact on the project
- Experience of architectural modelling; data flows, service dependencies, business services and processes
- The ability to develop and maintain good relationships with stakeholders in a wide range of roles and settings
- Be able to play a important part of the programme's engagement with partner organisations and key stakeholders, working across and with a range of stakeholders representing the whole system
- Experience of working with and facilitating multi-disciplinary groups (both NHS and local authority) workshops will be essential as will the ability to communicate and manage the impacts of large-scale digital transformation/ implementations
- Ability to collate complex and technical information from a variety of sources e.g. data analytics, data generated through primary research and insight gathered through desk research for formal reporting and presentations.

**Desirable**:

- Experience working on projects managed within Azure DevOps.
- Experience of using Miro and Microsoft Visio
