We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, talented, and conscientious individual to join our Pricing team as a pricing assistant

Working as part of the Pricing team and our Pricing Analyst, this position serves as a critical link between our Energy suppliers and clients. The Pricing assistant is responsible for ensuring good administrative support is given to allow for the smooth running of the Pricing team and all enquiries relating to the Pricing.

**Position**:
**Key deliverables**:

- Providing daily support to our Pricing Analyst and account managers.
- Be the first point of contact for the Pricing Division and respond to any enquiries in a timely manner, escalating when necessary to the appropriate person.
- Responding to supplier quotes and preparing the price comparisons for account managers.
- Provide end-to-end support with the pricing and reporting functions for commercial and property management divisions.
- Deliver administrative and analytical support to our Pricing team as well as the wider Sales and Operations departments.
- Support the Pricing team in the management of all energy supplier relationships for the Company.

**Requirements**:
**Requirements - Essential skills**:

- Experience of working to timescales.
- Experience working as part of a team and by yourself to deliver different aspects of work.
- Experience in liaising with people at different levels in organisations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and plan your work to align with business objectives.
- Data analysis and interpretation.
- Use of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to reduce complex information into easy-to-understand summaries for our customers, suppliers and staff.
- An ethical approach to business.

**Desirable**
- In-depth knowledge of the utilities industry and the challenges businesses face in procuring these products & services.
- Experience working within a fast-paced and high-growth organisation.
- Previous experience in the gas and power market.
- Previous experience in a pricing role.
- Advanced MS Excel skills with extensive practical experience.
-  Competent negotiator.
