**Responsibilities**:
- Provide expert medical care within the respective specialty.
- Diagnose and treat patients in accordance with NHS guidelines and best practices.
- Respond to emergency medical situations and provide timely interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior medical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records.
**Qualifications**:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Completion of specialty training in the respective field.
- Relevant certification and accreditation.
- Proven experience as a Consultant in the specified specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
