Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server to join our team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our cafe's service. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the hospitality industry.

**Duties**:

- Take orders for beverages and food and deliver them promptly
- Provide recommendations and upsell additional menu items
- Prepare and serve a variety of non alcoholic beverages including coffees.
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food pairing is an advantage
- Barista trained
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Ability to work well in a team environment
