There is an opportunity within the School of Health Sciences for an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced community nurse to join the Division of Nursing and Paramedic Science. You will be a qualified District Nurse with a V300 Non-medical Prescribing Qualification and have a master’s degree. A key aspect of the role is the ongoing development and delivery of a new curricula for the Post Graduate Diploma Person Centred-Practice (District Nursing).

You will take a leading role in the planning, delivery and evaluation of learning, teaching and assessment in the post-registration / postgraduate community nursing programmes and participate in research and knowledge exchange. You will possess excellent leadership skills and, with a positive outlook, should have developed interpersonal skills that will enable you to work collaboratively with colleagues, clinicians and placement providers. You will have experience in establishing networks locally, nationally and internationally.

The Division of Nursing and Paramedic Science has an established strategy built on its reputation for excellence in education, research and practice development. Therefore, whilst focusing on post registration /post-graduate community programmes, you will contribute to the implementation of this strategy across all our programmes. You will be expected to maintain clinical practice as part of our clinical academy.
