Warehouse Supervisor

My client is a well established business who specialise in warehouse and transport solutions. They are seeking a hands-on warehouse team leader to oversee a small team of warehouse and MHE operatives.

**Duties include and not limited to**:

- Overseeing and mentoring a team of MHE and warehouse operatives
- Managing incoming/outgoing deliveries of raw material
- Picking / put away of goods in line with customer requirements
- Liaising closely with other sites & head office
- Full operational ownership across the shift to ensure full agreed service delivery.
- Ensuring that customer complaints are resolved in the most efficient manner.
- Support management with resource planning and management, e.g., implement agreed processes to review performance, monitor absence and sickness and address issues within clear guidelines.
- Ensure all orders are picked and loaded to ensure the warehouse hit their KPI’s.
- Supporting with staff recruitment and retention
- Working to daily pick and delivery targets and deadlines
- Ensuring great relations and communications with the wider team members and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers
- Analyse and understand health and safety related risks for your staff and take action to reduce or eliminate these risks according to a prioritised plan.

**Skills/Experience required**
- Previous warehouse management experience
- C/balance licence
- Ability to make effective decisions.
- Resilience with an ability to keep calm under pressure and continue to follow the correct processes even under difficult circumstances.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
