A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Lithographic Offset Printer to join the business, reporting into the Print Manager. This role will form part of a wider crew responsible for the operation of the printing presses and will support the existing Lithoteam.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- To lead the team running KBA 162 machine.
- To ensure all Health & Safety & PPE requirements are adhered to at all times.
- To maintain current best working practices.
- To report any non-conformities to the Print Manager immediately.
- Housekeeping and maintenance of machines.
- Performing regular QC checks in line to ISO requirements.
- Any other duties as required by the Print Manager.
- To work in accordance with all company certifications.
- Actively engage and participate in all elements of Health and Safety requirements, whilst utilising the Health and Safety systems available.
- Learn and understand the following - Paper Awareness / Ink matching, colour technology and management / Machine setting and problem solving / Production efficiency.

**Skills, knowledge & experience desired**:

- Experience of working within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Someone with previous experience of running a large machine or working on a KBA 162 would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of coating systems & driers would be advantageous although training can be given.
- Excellent attention to detail, methodical in their approach and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Have an excellent eye for colour.
- Be an all-round team player.
- Strong technical ability.

The standard working hours are 3 shift rotation Monday to Friday (6am - 1.30pm; 1.30pm
- 9pm, 9pm-6am).
