Valeter and Driver

As a full-time Valeter/Driver you will be a part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that vehicles are checked and cleaned to the required standards and are available for rental use. You'll be moving vehicles around our sites and between our locations. You will be delivering vehicles to, and collect them from, our customers, employees or vendors at the appropriate destination(s) in a safe and timely manner. You'll be expected to compile hire documentation for the handover whilst dealing with our customers, employees and vendors in a helpful, courteous and professional way. This role is full of variety, no two days are ever the same. The role is perfect for an individual who is looking to enter the rental industry or has previous valeting / driving experience.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Preparing, valeting and checking vehicles to ensure they are presented to a high standard
- Receiving, collecting and delivering vehicles into and between branches, to customers or vendors (out of area sometimes)
- Maintaining a good and professional relationship with customers, employees and vendors
- Damage or missing items reporting
- Refuelling
- Assisting where necessary
**Qualifications and Skills**
- At least 23 years old for insurance purposes and hold a valid, full, clean driving licence
- D1 entitlement on licence preferred but not essential
- Ability to drive multiple types of company vehicles with care and obey all traffic regulations
- Previous experience in the industry is advantageous but not essential
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in all administration and strong attention to detail
- You are able to work under pressure as an individual and as part of a team
- Physically fit
- Project a professional appearance
- Able to maintain a friendly, courteous attitude towards customers and fellow employees in a multi-cultural environment
- Able to work flexibly (including weekends and outside normal hours) if required.
