Dog Walker

Do you love dogs and other small animals? If the answer is yes then working for Petpals could be the ideal choice

We are looking for someone to join our growing team, someone who is a friendly, trustworthy and reliable team member. You must have experience of dogs, either through working with them or looking after them.

You must be confident that you can handle four dogs at a time off lead. Ideally you will also have experience with other small pets though this is not essential as training will be provide.

We walk in all weathers, so you must be prepared to deal with wet and windy weather and muddy dogs

You must be able to provide a clean DBS (criminal record check) when required - this will be reimbursed for the successful applicant

You must be an experienced driver and have held a full clean license for a minimum of 4 years, with ideally no fault accident claims on your insurance.

You must be a good time keeper, organised and be confident dealing with members of the public in a variety of situations.

You must be able to deal with difficult situations in a calm and controlled manner.

You must be happy to work on your own but also be a supportive team member to others when required.

You must keep client information confidential and ensure keys and alarm details are stored as securely as possible when they are in your care.

NOTE: The position offers a minimum of 15 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday but you will also need to work one weekend in three should it be required.
