Systems Engineer (Integration) - Attractive - Permanent - Defence and Aviation Systems
A **Systems Engineer** is required to join a market leading Innovative Defence Systems and Aviation Company. The **Systems Engineer** will be part of an engineering team responsible for System Engineering work undertaken by the company.

**Systems Engineer
- Key Responsibilities
- Establish, document and maintain documentation standards and provide guidance and templates for Systems Engineering documentation required during system development.
- Participate & lead delegated aspects of subsystem requirements integration, definition, design and development.
- Cover all Systems Engineering matters and disciplines (e.g. requirements, design, architecture, integrations and tests).
- Support the Chief Engineer and subcontractors regarding System Engineering.
- Generate & maintain Technical Requirement Specs and Interface Control Documents.
- Develop systems architecture and provide input.
- Participate in technical systems engineering reviews.
- Capture Customer, User and/or System requirements throughout design and acceptance.
- Support product development and design within areas of expertise.
- Support planning and generating integration tests.
- Support integration and acceptance activities in the lab and in the field.

**Technical Skills and Experience for Systems Engineer
- Degree in systems/electrical/electronic/mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Proven experience in system development programme, systems knowledge and experience.
- Knowledge and experience in system engineering activities, including requirements management, systems engineering processes, interface control, product development, integration, verification and qualification.
- Technical experience in a multi-disciplined project/programme environment.
- Technical programme planning and risk analysis is desirable.
- Experience using systems engineering tools (DOORS, UML etc).
- **Ability to gain required security clearance is a must.**:

- Ability to lead technical work package as allocated by Principal Systems Engineer.
- Experience within defence or suitably established process-oriented industry.
- Ability to work within a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel within and outside of UK as required.
- Good team player with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office.
